Curfew Laws in Tennessee

With the addition of the Providence Marketplace, kids in the Mt. Juliet community now have a lot more choices when it comes to entertainment. However, parents should be aware of the curfew laws for the state of Tennessee when allowing their children to be out. The current law states:

  • Children between the ages of 17 and 18 have a curfew beginning at 11pm on Monday through Thursday and 12pm on Friday and Saturday.)
  • Children age 16 and under have a curfew beginning at 10pm on Monday through Thursday and 11pm on Friday and Saturday.
  • The Mt. Juliet police department does enforce curfew laws, allowing for the safety and security of all the children in Mt. Juliet.
